‘Jesus welcomes you to Hawkins’ sign coming down’

In a Monday night meeting, city council members voted to take down the sign, That read “Jesus welcomes you to hawkins”
It all started in Hawkins when the sign was first put up around June then you started seeing them all around East Texas… Because it violated the separation of church and state they got asked to take it down

Being a Christian and living in east Texas this affects me because people are allowed to fly confederate flags but anything that mentions Jesus is apparently wrong

This affects the world because it is changing society
